Vox is the Latin word for voice; therefore, 2 vox means “2 voice” as in “to voice” one’s knowledge and experience (or opinions) about specific topics. In this case, the topics are those that we have a fair amount of educated experience with and enjoy writing about.
In addition, 2 Vox (for us) also refers to our two voices, which are now, two times two, and belong to Sgt Pepper, Mr Kite, Lucy Diamonds, and Molly Jones. We are the scribes who write and publish the articles and information on this site. We are, in fact, professional journalists with backgrounds and degrees in Communications and English.
We have been writing articles for over 20 years for dozens of consumer magazines such as Computerworld, Better Homes and Gardens, InfoWorld, Omni, Science Digest, PC Magazine, New Age, PC World, Redbook, Linux World, Health, Smart Computing, CEO/CIO, Processor, Food Wine, Network World, Spa Magazine, PC Today, Travel Leisure, First Glimpse, Field Stream, Biztech, Popular Science, IT World, Bon Appétit, Woman’s World, Sunset, Fitness, and many, many more—all under a long list of various pseudonyms.
That said, we hope our words and experiences are enlightening and informative or, at the very least, amusing and entertaining.
